Varied work
Logistics work is varied. For example, consider warehouse operatives who collect and process orders, staff who sort or pack products, and fork-lift and reach-truck drivers who move goods safely. Operators also play an important role within production environments: they operate machinery and monitor production processes. Much of this work takes place within the food sector, where speed, accuracy and quality go hand in hand.
Knowledge, safety and certificates
Working in logistics demands a structured approach. Work is carried out using scanners, warehouse systems, counterbalance and reach trucks, and automated production lines. For various roles, certificates or diplomas are required, such as a forklift, reach truck, or VCA certificate. Do you not have these yet? In addition, it is important that employees speak at least Dutch or English, so that work instructions are properly understood and activities can be carried out safely.
